Hostal Poblenou – A Favorite for Families in Barcelona

Hostal Poblenou occupies a restored 1930s building, offering 7 rooms with private bathrooms and air conditioning. Each room is spacious and includes a flat-screen TV with Netflix access. Guests have unlimited access to free filtered water, coffee, and tea at the reception until 8pm, plus complimentary use of beach towels, baskets, and umbrellas.

A full breakfast is served daily on a seaside terrace, with guests ordering their choice the night before from options like avocado toast, berry crepes, and pancakes. The breakfast costs €15 and includes freshly prepared items such as eggs, bacon, and smoothies. For early departures, the staff packs a takeaway breakfast.

The hotel lies a 5-minute walk from Bogatell Beach and right off the Rambla de Poblenou, a boulevard lined with cafés, bars, and restaurants. Ciutadella-Vila Olímpica Metro station is 450 meters away, providing a 30-minute connection to Barcelona's Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas. Parc Gandhi is located nearby, and the surrounding area offers a local, non-touristy atmosphere.

Hostal Poblenou welcomes pets and provides pet baskets and pet bowls upon arrival. Families with children are accommodated with spacious rooms and extra beds, as noted by past guests. The hotel also issues beach towels and baskets for children to use at the nearby shore.
